Summary This lesson is the introductory lesson to the unit on climate zones and climate change. The lesson addresses the misconception of the relationship between climate and weather. There is also a mapping activity to provide a path to the rest of the unit. The point of the activity is to show students what they will be learning in the following weeks and what they are expected to have learned by the conclusion of the unit.
